The Small Things That Matter💖

The idea of doing something on a regular basis is known as a habit. There are good habits which we should pursue and then there are bad habits which we should let go of. I couldn't help wondering that all the good habits that we are supposed to follow are in fact big habits, that is, they take up lot of our precious time and effort, like brushing our teeth or exercising everyday. They are surely necessary to follow, but what if I told you that there are certain small habits which can make also make a major contribution in improving our quality of life? Therefore, I've made a list of 10 teeny-weeny, but effective habits which will definitely help you in the long run. But to keep you guys hooked up, I've only opened the magic door for 5 spicy gems to a successful life. Scroll down!😀

1.WRITE THREE THINGS THAT YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR

This small but challenging exercise is exactly the motivation that we need to get through these tough times. A pinch of positivity is the perfect ingredient for the best recipe! Even on days when you are feeling a bit low, try to write at least one good thing. It could be anything...whether you are grateful for your life, your health, your family...absolutely anything! After all, every dark cloud has a silver lining, right?😄

2.EXERCISE FOR A MINUTE WHEN YOU WAKE UP

A minute, 60 seconds people...no excuses. I'm not talking about high intensity jumping jacks and all, maybe just a bit of stretching, some yoga asanas, or some planks and push-ups...the choice's yours😊 Even if you are doing a full fledged workout in the evening, this morning stretch will get that blood flowing in your body and in turn get rid of that morning fog collecting in your brain. Believe me, a fresh morning is a fresh start!

3.ORGANIZE YOUR HOME/ROOM

Being organized is like a talent. That's how amazing and powerful it is. It can never go wrong if you keep doing it. I myself am pretty organized. I can't concentrate on anything while sitting in a messy room. Organization saves a lot of time as you won't have to look for things everywhere (and then blame your siblings😜) It prevents stress and also saves you from the panic attacks that you get when you can't find something important. All the great and successful people out there are very organized in their lives, even the great Einstein was organized (his thought process I mean, not his hair) So, stop cluttering your life....instead organize it, and live like a boss😎

4.STAND UP EVERY HOUR

This seems like the easiest one, but it is definitely the hardest one....'cause you can't seem to remember it! Notifications don't help, they are just distracting. But maybe we can try post-its. They are a great and surely effective method. Standing up once in an hour helps you take a break from what you're doing and clears your mind. It's different (not saying better) than walking around once every hour as it does not divert your attention from the task you are doing and keeps your focus👍

5.GET CURIOUS ABOUT ONE NEW THING EVERY MONTH

With our creative mind, our lives are full of new inventions and discoveries. So, even if you are a busy bee, once in a month try to dig into that new topic that you were interested about, or maybe just find some information about that thing your friend was talking about. Today's world is full of small miracles and big happenings that we don't know about. Just try to learn something new and fun at least every month because, an investment in knowledge always pays the best interest💰

So, here we are...on the end of the road with these five jewels in our reach. Try out all these new habits at least for one week, and then make it a regular thing! As rightly said by the French philosopher Voltaire - "God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well." I'll post the next five secret gems to success in around one week, so stay tuned!
