How To Find Your "True-Calling"💖

Have you ever wondered why super successful people work the same eight hours as us every day and yet end up with ten times the number of dollars in their pocket? They must be working extremely hard, right? What is it that they do different in those eight hours? The answer to that is simple: they do work that they love.
When you start doing something that you genuinely want to do, not just because of a profit-incentive or because society said that it is a good job, then most days, work doesn't even seem like work but a never-ending passion project. That doesn't mean that you don't face setbacks, but it does mean that you are much more likely to jump back up because you are doing something that you genuinely care about. So, the question arises: how do you find work that you love? How do you find your passion and make it your purpose?

STEP 1: TRIAL AND ERROR
First things first, you need to try out new things. You can't just expect to sit in the rose-coloured utopian bubble you've created for yourself and then complain that you never really found your passion. By trying to attempt things that you have never done before, you not only gain new experiences for yourself, but insights into yourself. To put it simply, you become a self-expert. Of course, trying out new things is harder than it sounds, but it does make you think twice of saying no to an opportunity just because you've never done it before. Give yourself the permission to fail, and realise how liberating that is, because even if you failed, you are ten times stronger than the person who never tried it in the first place.
Steve Jobs - "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it, keep looking. Don't settle.
STEP 2: SURROUND SOUND
Take the example of exercising. You are much more likely to get up and start working out if you're in a gym full of people, rather than if you are alone - then you're much more likely to give up altogether the moment it gets tough.
The same logic works for doing something new and different. When you're on the exciting but terrifying road of looking for new perspectives and experiences by taking risks, you should surround yourself with people of the same mentality - people that motivate and inspire you to work harder instead of making fun of your efforts. Such kind of people don't come around often, so it's better to grab a hold of them while you still can. Think of any and everyone that has pushed you to try out a new thing - that's the person you are looking for.

STEP 3: REHEARSE AND REPEAT
Over time, after a lot of trying out this and that, you're probably going to find something that you love to do and genuinely care about, but chances are, you are probably not great at it and that's okay. I bet even Steve Jobs wasn't even great at creating and selling computers when he first started out. So now, it's up to you to polish that skill and make it perfect. Just because you are passionate about it doesn't mean you won't fail, it only means that you have a higher probability of jumping back into the game. The right people can give you a push, but the flame of motivation to do something great should burn inside you so that you can to achieve something that truly matters.
Oscar Wilde - "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist."
