Five Best Novels To Read When Bored At Home

Have you searched the entire net looking for the best book to chill with this weekend?? Well, look no more! Here's a list of five amazing and mind-twisting books that are gonna keep you flipping the pages at night!😍

1.SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE - MORGAN MATSON

Looking for a sweet novel filled with romance and a little bit of adventure? Here's the perfect pick!😀 The story follows two best friends - Emily and Sloane. Emily is a shy kind of gal, she's afraid of taking risks and tries to keep to herself as much as possible. On the other hand, Sloane is a total go-to kinda gal. She always keeps an eye out for adventures and tries to live her life to the fullest. Sloane and Emily have been inseparable for almost two years now...until one day Sloane just disappears. Without any text or call, Sloane leaves everything behind and just vanishes into thin air. All she leaves is a note for Emily...a list more like it, a list of 13 fun, yet unbelievable things that Emily has to complete if she wants to see Sloane again. Dance until dawn? Easy enough. Hug a Jamie? Who- Steal something?! Whaa- Emily sets out to have a magical summer, finding love and adventure...but most importantly, she finds herself💖

2.FIVE FEET APART - RACHAEL LIPPINCOTT

Hey world, your friend Stella here! For those of you who don't know me I'm 17-year old Stella Grant, and I'm a patient of Cystic Fibrosis (a lung disease). A kind of person who likes to stay in control of her life, a person who worships the rules, Stella Grant might be one of the most sweetest characters you ever meet. Suffering from a lung disorder known as CF, she's spend most of her life in the hospital...following the rules, never testing her limits and always, always being in control of her life. Until one day, Will Newman shows up. Another fellow CF patient, but he's the exact opposite of Stella. All Will wants to do is get out of these white walls and live his life. Will and Stella are the biggest threat imaginable to each other. Six feet apart, AT ALL TIMES. But as they get to know each other and as their connection intensifies, will they be able to stay inside their boundaries? Can you actually love a person without ever touching them? Can't we just take back one feet that our lives have taken from us? This adorable story is gonna leave you crying, of course, but it's also gonna make you realize that happiness can be found even in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the light⚡

"I find the television very educating. Everytime someone turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book". - Comedian Groucho Marx

3. A GOOD GIRL'S GUIDE TO MURDER-HOLLY JACKSON

Seventeen-year old Pippa Fitz-Amobi just can't get her mind to rest. Following the murder of popular high-schooler Andie Bell, Pip finds herself deep inside the trenches of trouble. All evidence points that Andie's loving boyfriend Sal Singh, murdered her...so what's the problem? The problem is that a few days later Sal takes his own lifeđŸ”ȘđŸ˜Č Case closed right? Sal was feeling guilty and was scared of getting caught so he just killed himself. But no...Pip can't come to terms with THIS explanation. So as she starts to investigate the hidden trail of clues left behind, she learns that the town of Fairview has a lot of unknown secrets...but most importantly, someone doesn't want her to know them. Every secret unveiled leads to new danger for Pip. Will she find the actual truth or will she manage to get herself into something even more sinister?

4. THE A.B.C MURDERS - AGATHA CHRISTIE

Monsieur Poirot's back!😎 Upon returning from South America Hercule Poirot receives a letter signed ABC. The letter talks about a crime, a murder...but to make it even more interesting, two more letters arrive at Poirot's place. First, Alice Ascher who dies in her tobacco shop in Andover...then Elizabeth "Betty" Bernard, a waitress at the beach on Bexhill, and then Sir Charmichael Clarke, a wealthy man, killed at his home in Churston (see the pattern?) Apart from the weird chronological order that this murderer is following (he must have been good in English!), he also leaves behind an ABC Rail Guide (an alphabetical railway schedule) beside the victim. Since it's an Agatha Christie story, a twist is a must! Now will that twist be enough to throw off the great Hercule Poirot or will he finally expose the mastermind behind the ABC Murders?😈

5. THE SILENT PATIENT - ALEX MICHAELIDES

A psychotic thriller by Alex Michaelides and by far the BEST book I've read this year, The Silent Patient will leave you gripping the edge of your seats and tossing and turning at night. It follows the story of Alicia Berenson, an artist who happily lives with her husband...both deep in love. Until one day, she takes a gun and shoots her husband five times in the face...without any reason (she had some serious anger management issues). Alicia is taken to an asylum, dozens of therapists come to help her...but she NEVER SPEAKS. She never even opens her mouth, never smiles...just sits there like a white ghost. Years pass, until one day, Theo Faber, intrigued by her, sets out on his journey to make her speak. As events unravel and Theo gets to know about Alicia, he understands that most of her pain came from her childhood. With only two clues for Theo - Alicia's painting ALCESTIS and her diary, will he be able to make her speak? Or will the silent patient forever remain silent?đŸ€ĄđŸ’€

Well that's the end of our list unfortunately. But I guarantee you that these books are gonna make you feel as if you're the one living them. The connection, the language the background...an amazing combo of romance and crime...you're gonna never wanna put them down😂 My advice (which you can totally ignore), try to buy paperback if you can, then only you can get the proper "feel" of the story! And as rightly said by the famous novelist George R.R Martin - "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies...the man who never reads lives only once."
